iPad for Lucy
iPad for Lucy
Lucy is a beautiful, bright and lively 8 year old with Mitochondrial Disease whose activities are now severely curtailed by her disabilities. Tcharmed - through the generosity of our supporters - has been able to buy her an iPad, which will help her considerably to keep in touch with her friends and with her schoolwork. We are so pleased to have been able to help. Sept. 2011.

Tcharmed Trustees presented a cheque for £15,000 in June 2010 to Dr Mike Champion - Head of Service & Consultant in Paediatric Inherited Metabolic Disease.
The money raised will go towards the Nuclear Gene Testing for Mitochondrial Disorders at the Evalina Children's Hospital.

A dream trip to Disneyland for Jessica
May 2009: T-Charmed made a donation of £1,500 to the family of little Jessica Cannons who was suffering from cardiomyopathy which led to a severe chronic heart failure. Jesse also suffered a stroke and is confined to a wheelchair. The donation enabled Jesse and her family to visit Disneyland and have a wonderful break for a few days. Jesse is now on the list awaiting a heart transplant operation.

A cheque for the Evalina Children's Metabolic Fund
January 2008: T-Charmed presented a cheque to Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity for £12,000 to contribute towards the Evelina Children’s Metabolic Fund. The money has gone towards improving diagnostic testing for metabolic disorders and in particular the development of genetic testing for patients with Complex 1 deficiency in the mitochondria.
